Hohl Industrial Services Inc. was chosen to carry out the steel erection and equipment setting for the conversion of a rock gypsum plant to a flue gas derivative. This green project will allow the plant to produce a Leed certified building product. The aggressive schedule called for 30,000 man-hours of work in four months, followed by a two week tie in shutdown.
Much of the new production equipment was installed on the 210 tons of structural steel and 47 tons of grating that was added to the existing plant.
